Our mobile ramp was a result of a request by Angus Council to design and build a towable halfpipe for use by youth groups of skaters and BMX riders in various location. In what is believed to be a European First, the mobile half pipe travels the county to areas where no skateparkcurrently exists.
Used in urban and rural areas, demand is high for the impressive mobile unit, which can be legally towed by a four wheel drive or minibus, and has seating attached to the underside so it can be used as a shelter Simply unhitched onto a suitable surface, the trailer uses hydraulics to first stabilise the trailer and then, with a flick of a switch, the arms of the mini pipe unfold to create a full size half pipe – ready for use by skaters and BMX riders!
Fitted with security measures, it has been left safely UNSUPERVISED. The unit helps to assess demand and to encourage fund raising activities where no permanent facilities currently exist.
