Whiteskate Ramps
StreetSkape are the sole UK supplier of WhiteSkate polymer concrete skate / BMX ramps, the only concrete ramps we recommend!
White Skate ramps are made of polymer steel-reinforced concrete attached to a hot-dip galvanized steel undercarriage. There are NO SCREWS on the surface! Polymer concrete has a 3-times higher mechanical strength and solidness than regular cement concrete and our ramps have steel tubes built in for additional reinforcement.
The mixture of polymer resin in concrete provides a permanent smooth, yet grippy surface - ideal for skating. Skaters can concentrate on tricks – and are not distracted by dents, bumps and/or screws in the ramps. With edge protection on all sides there are no sharp edges. Coping tubes are filled with polymer concrete to prevent dents and the transitions are made from High grade steel. White Skate Polymer Concrete ramps react more elastically on impact than massive cement concrete ramps, so they don’t hurt as much to fall on – and are quieter for the neighbours!
The ramps are developed in a building set system, so you can enlarge the skate park, reconfigure the set up of the elements or even relocate the entire skate park. You cannot do this with regular concrete ramps because they are permanently fixed on the ground.
With the mixture of Polymer resin and steel tube reinforcement, White Skate Ramps are virtually indestructible and 100% weather proof. As such, they are virtually maintenance free – meaning full life costs are very competitive in comparison with other ramps requiring ongoing maintenance
While all of StreetSkape’s products are designed, manufactured and installed to EN 14974 standards, our WhiteSkate ramps also comply with the German technical norm DIN 33943. With a 5 year warranty on all elements, there are many polymer skateparks throughout Europe still in operation a decade after construction.
